From Bath to Generous Walk-In Shower

Our clients in Great Notley came to us with a clear idea for their main bathroom: remove the bath, take out the existing shower, and give the room over to one generous walk-in enclosure. Their brief was a natural fit for our bathroom design service in Braintree.

Working through our design process at the Braintree showroom, the layout came together quickly — a couple of visits and tweaks later, the final 3D render was signed off. Part way through installation, a small on-site design suggestion made the finished room even better.

The specification pairs warm metallics with soft stone tones: JTP brushed bronze brassware throughout, an oval RAK Ceramics countertop basin on a floating stone-top vanity, and a backlit HiB mirror glowing against a dramatic copper-toned slate feature wall, with Ca' Pietra and Porcelanosa tiles completing the scheme.

Every detail earns its place — a full-width LED-lit niche runs through the shower, the wall-hung WC keeps the floor clear, and a bronze Zehnder towel radiator anchors the far wall. The result is a calm, light-filled shower room just minutes from our Braintree showroom.

Sharing our thoughts and ideas with Jonny at Bowman, together we very quickly had the project planned out — a couple of visits and tweaks later, everything was finalised with a final rendition.
