What the Guarantee Actually Is
Every installation completed by our approved fitter network comes with a 2-year installation guarantee from the fitter who carries out the work.
It covers defects arising directly from the standard of workmanship during the installation of your bathroom.
This guarantee applies to installations carried out by one of our approved network fitters, and is provided in addition to your statutory rights. If you use your own fitter, their own terms apply.
What It Covers
The guarantee covers installation-related issues including:
- ● Incorrect installation of supplied components
- ● Failures caused by improper fitting, sealing, or fixing
- ● Installation-related water ingress where directly attributable to workmanship
- ● Defects arising from the installation methods used by the approved fitter
Important Note:
This guarantee covers the installation only, not product performance or outcomes beyond the installation itself.
What It Does Not Cover
As with any installation guarantee, it naturally excludes:
- ○ Manufacturer defects or product failures (covered by manufacturer warranties)
- ○ General wear and tear
- ○ Damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, or third-party alterations
- ○ Structural movement, settlement, or issues beyond the installed area
- ○ Problems arising from pre-existing conditions not identified at the time of installation
Relationship to Manufacturer Warranties
All products supplied are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties.
We register those manufacturer warranties for you. The installation guarantee sits alongside them and applies solely to the installation itself.
How Claims Are Handled
Contact Your Fitter
The installation guarantee is provided by the approved fitter who completed the work, so any installation issue goes directly to them, in writing and within a reasonable time.
Assessment
Your fitter assesses the issue and determines whether it relates to their installation under the terms of their guarantee.
Remedial Work
Where it does, your fitter puts it right in line with the terms of their guarantee.
