A Spa Sanctuary at Home

Lydia and Harry built a new extension on their West Mersea home and wanted the master ensuite to feel like a spa. We lined every wall with bookmatched Ca' Pietra Nero Magnifique marble tiles — large panels cut so the veins mirror each other across the room. Two ceiling rain showers sit side by side behind Crosswater glass, with a Porcelanosa Boulder Black pebble bench between them that has Warmup underfloor heating built right into the seat. A BC Designs Crea freestanding bath in Light Fawn fills one end, paired with JTP Evo brushed bronze brassware. The Ambiance Bain floating vanity, HiB LED mirror cabinet, and Geberit wall-hung WC complete the space. The BC Designs Crea freestanding bath in Light Fawn is the star of this ensuite. British-made stone resin holds heat longer than acrylic, and the soft curved shape looks stunning against the dark bookmatched walls. Paired with a wall-mounted JTP Evo brushed bronze filler.
