How the Price Promise Works
Share Your Quote
Provide a written quote from a reputable UK retail competitor — whether that's a formal proposal, email confirmation, or website screenshot showing the price including any delivery charges.
We Review It
Our team will verify the competitor's offer and confirm that the products and terms are genuinely like-for-like. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
We Beat It
Once verified, we'll provide you with a price that beats the competitor's offer. The amount by which we beat a quote may vary depending on the product and our own supply terms, but our aim is always to ensure you get the best deal.
What Qualifies as Like-for-Like
For a quote to be eligible under our Price Promise, the following must be identical between the competitor's offer and ours:
Same manufacturer, model number, and product code
Identical dimensions, configuration, and technical spec
Same finish, colour option, and material variant
Comparable delivery timescales and any associated charges
Competitor Requirements
- Must be a reputable UK-based retailer — with a physical showroom or established online presence
- The quoted product must be currently in stock and available at the stated price
- A written quote must be provided — email, formal proposal, or verifiable screenshot
What's Not Included
Our Price Promise applies to standard retail pricing. The following are excluded:
Showroom display models, seconds, or items sold as imperfect
Time-limited promotions, special purchase events, or end-of-line clearance
Third-party listings on Amazon Marketplace, eBay, or similar platforms
Trade-only pricing, wholesale accounts, or staff-discount schemes
Additional Terms
- • We will beat standard retail competitor pricing, including their advertised sale prices, where the product is genuinely like-for-like.
- • Online-only pricing may be considered at our discretion, provided the retailer has an established presence and the product is available for immediate purchase.
- • The Price Promise applies to products only and does not extend to installation, design, or project management services.
- • Requests cannot be applied retrospectively after purchase has been confirmed.
- • All Price Promise decisions are subject to our verification of the competitor's offer and are made at Bowmans' sole discretion.
